Introduction of a risk management system in medical institutions

Since the beginning of 2025, Kazakhstan has been implementing a risk management system (RMS) that classifies medical organizations into "red", "yellow" and "green" zones. Institutions with a high number of complaints and identified deficiencies will be classified in the "red" zone and will be subject to increased monitoring. This innovation is aimed at improving the quality of medical care and transparency of the activities of medical institutions.

Increase of children's medical infrastructure in Kyzylorda region

There is an acute shortage of places in children's medical institutions in the Kyzylorda region. The regional children's multidisciplinary hospital, designed for 200 beds, accepts up to 440 patients, especially during periods of epidemics. To solve this problem, it is planned to open a municipal children's hospital in Kyzylorda this summer. It is expected that this will reduce the burden on the regional hospital and improve the quality of medical care for children in the region.
